What this site does with your details

Short, because there is not much to say. No cookies on the public pages, no tracking, and a contact form that is used to reply to you.

  • Who

    Who is responsible

LBL Partners Ltd, the company Benjamin Edwards trades through, based in Worthing, West Sussex, is the data controller for this site. Questions about anything here go to [email protected].

  • What

    What the contact form collects

Your name, your email address, your company if you give it, the revenue band you pick and whatever you write in the message. That is all it asks for, and each field is there so the reply is useful rather than generic.

  • Why

    Why, and on what basis

To reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to do the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for the reply, and steps taken at your request before a contract for anything after it. Nothing goes on a list. There is no newsletter.

  • Where

    Who else handles it

The form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sends your IP address and some browser signals to Cloudflare to tell people from bots. The message is delivered by Resend to my Google Workspace mailbox. Cloudflare also hosts the site. All three act on my instructions under written terms, and where data leaves the UK it does so under the UK rules for international transfers. If you book a call, that happens on Calendly under Calendly’s own notice.

  • How long

    How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept for two years after the last contact, then deleted. Records of work we do together are kept for the length of the engagement and then for the six years the tax rules require.

  • Cookies

    Cookies and analytics

The public pages set no cookies and load no tracking scripts. Visits are counted by Cloudflare at its edge, from the requests it serves, with no script on the page, no cookie and nothing that follows you between sites. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. The Turnstile check runs in Cloudflare’s own frame. The tools behind a password set one session cookie, and only I use them.

  • Rights

    Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to my holding it, by emailing [email protected]. You will get an answer within a month. If you are not happy with the answer, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk takes complaints.

  • Changes

    Changes to this notice
